The Meat Puppets today offered up the first taste of their upcoming 13th studio album, Lollipop, in the form of a free MP3 of the track “Damn Thing,” exclusively via RollingStone.com. The band — founding members Cris and Curt Kirkwood, plus new drummer Shandon Sahm, son of Doug Sahm — will release its first record since 2009’s Sewn Together on April 12 on hard-rock imprint Megaforce Records.
