“Dark Wave,” hosted by Slicing Up Eyeballs’ Matt Sebastian, explores the darker side of classic ’80s alternative, including vintage goth, post-punk and industrial. The shows airs at 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern every Sunday on Sirius XM satellite radio’s 1st Wave (Channel 33).

The most recent two episodes are also available to subscribers to stream via the Sirius XM app.

Got a request? Requests will be considered for future episodes as long as they fit the show’s format and fall generally within the 1st Wave era — and provided the host doesn’t harbor an intense dislike of the song. If there’s something you’d like to hear, drop it in the comments below.

  11. Really nice show – particularly enjoyed those remixes that started things.

Been a while since I requested anything, so asking for you to play Chris & Cosey – Pagan Tango (the song) please.

  12. Another great set! The remixes in hour 1 were very fun, send Bueller our love. Loved the shoegaze set and thanks for playing my Velocity Girl request, especially nice to hear that one after MBV.

I’ve got a request that is both a super early b-side and a cover of none other than the great Syd Barrett. Nope, not “Golden Hair” by Slowdive even though that’s a great one too. Request for a future communion: “Vegetable Man” by JAMC.

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

  13. Great Bueller remixes! You also played Last Night, Maudlin Street which was gonna be my next request. Thanks for another good show Matt!

  14. Another killer February DW!

    Here’s a request going into March –

Rowland S. Howard – Life’s What You Make It

    Thanks!

  15. Have you considered doing a Darkwave in other decades show? There is so much that has carried forward from the 80s that I think it would be an interesting show.

    Neon – Drivin’ (1981) https://www.qobuz.com/us-en/album/tapes-of-darkness-neon/g6j97c6h0e66b
