Boy George & Culture Club
Boy George and Culture Club today announced the 25-date “Letting It Go Show” North American amphitheater tour, a celebration of new wave pop that will find the “Karma Chameleon” hitmakers joined by contemporaries Howard Jones and Berlin.
The tour opens July 13 in West Palm Beach, Florida, and runs through late August, with shows in Atlanta, Nashville, Toronto, Chicago and more, before concluding Aug. 20 in Concord, California.
A presale for Citi cardholders begins at 10 a.m. local time Wednesday, April 19, with additional presales expected through the week. The general on-sale date is 10 a.m. local time Friday, April 21, at livenation.com.
Culture Club’s current reunion began in 2014, with the group going on tour and beginning work on a record called Tribes that was supposed to come out in 2015. That never quite happened, but those recordings became part of the group’s 2018 album Life — the first Culture Club record in nearly 20 years. The current lineup features Boy George, Mikey Craig and Roy Hay; Jon Moss left in 2021.
