Alice Bag, co-founder of the iconic first-generation Los Angeles punk act The Bags, this spring will release her third solo album, a collection called Sister Dynamite that is being described as a return to the “full-throttle punk” that her late-’70s band perfected.
The album, featuring 12 songs, is slated to be released April 24 on In the Red Records, and can be pre-ordered on CD or vinyl directly from the label, or digitally via Amazon.com.
The label describes Bag’s follow-up to 2016’s Alice Bag and 2018’s Blueprint as such:
“An unbridled celebration of community and the undeniable power in embracing your own truth, the collection confronts some of the most pervasive problems troubling our world today: unchecked privilege and willful ignorance, systemic inequality and fragile masculinity. “
