After playing just two shows in New York and a concert in Toronto this past May in support of Sonik Kicks, modfather Paul Weller will return to the U.S. this fall for an even briefer visit: The ex-Jam leader is set to perform on the Oct. 18 episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and will follow that with a concert Oct. 19 at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre.
Weller will be supported at the Greek Theatre date by Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings. Tickets for that concert go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. After that, Weller’s off to Japan for a previously announced five-date tour.
Paul Weller tour dates:
Oct. 18: “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Los Angeles, CA, USA
Oct. 19: Greek Theatre, Los Angeles, CA, USA
Oct. 22: Zepp DiverCity, Tokyo, Japan
Oct. 23: Zepp DiverCity, Tokyo, Japan

I wonder if this means he will also make an appearance at Yep Roc 15. His name is one of the few missing from the line-up and the timing would make total sense.
