This has been online for a couple years now, but it didn’t come to our attention until this week: It’s a clip of future Oscar winner Trent Reznor in one of his mid-’80s, pre-Nine Inch Nails bands performing a fairly faithful cover of the Billy Idol hit “Eyes Without a Face.” And give him credit; Reznor certainly gives With Sympathy-era Al Jourgensen a run for his money in terms of faux Brit vocal affectations. To see more delightfully dated footage of Reznor during his Cleveland, Ohio, cover-band days, head over to Dangerous Minds.

I’ve watched this several times today. Not only is it hilariously awesome, but it’s also just…awesome! Love it.
