After wrapping its upcoming U.K. tour, the newly reunited Big Audio Dynamite — reconvened by The Clash’s Mick Jones after 20 years apart — will bookend its appearance at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival with a pair of pre- and post-fest gigs in Los Angeles and New York City.
The U.S. dates find the original BAD lineup — Jones, filmmaker/DJ Don Letts, keyboardist Dan Donovan, drummer Greg Roberts and bassist Leo ‘E. Zee Kill’ Williams — performing April 14 at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood and April 19 at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City (via Brooklyn Vegan). The band plays Coachella on April 16.
Prior to the U.S. visit, Jones and Co. will perform their first gigs in two decades during a nine-date U.K. tour March 29 through April 9. It’s unclear whether more U.S. dates are in the cards, but the band has announced several festival dates this summer.

ill always find it strange to see old men play dress-up.
then don’t ride the morning train or you’ll be thrown into a costume party –each in his/her suit and tie and fingering their phones
r0b – you’ll feel differently in 20+ years.
