As expected, New Order has added a handful of North American tour dates around its slot at the Sasquatch! Music Festival in Washington state this July, with concerts in Chicago, Vancover, B.C., and San Francisco joining a previously revealed show in Los Angeles, according to an announcement from Rhino Entertainment this morning.
Following a South American trek in late March and early April, New Order — Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris, Gillian Gillbert, Phil Cunningham and Tom Chapman — will return to North America in July for five performances, beginning in Chicago on July 1 and wrapping up in Los Angeles on July 13.
Tickets for most of those dates go on sale Friday.

No love for the east coast? :'(
I wish they would come back again to the DC area. Do you think they will add more dates to this mini North American tour?
Road trip to Vancouver… a mere bagatelle! Oh yeah!
No love for the east coast (part2) .. come back to Philadelphia ..
As much as I would like for them to expand the tour, I think I’d rather they stay put in the studio and finish the new album.
Ohh to have my own Learjet.
New Order basically keep playing the same cities over and over again. I guess they can’t draw in other markets anymore.
Just saw them last July at Merriweather in MD with Holy Ghost. Place was packed.
Chicago. So happy, so there.
Well, it appears their July 6 festival gig was just cancelled. Hopefully they’ll just schedule a Seattle show on that date instead:

To clarify: the festival itself was canceled.
