Less than two months after aborting yet another U.S. tour due to ill health, Morrissey is making plans to hit the road again in support of his brand-new album World Peace Is None of Your Business, with concerts so far planned for Greece, Turkey, Italy, Romania, Hungary and Ireland.

This week’s new releases include the brand-new studio album from Morrissey (‘World Peace is None of Your Business’) as well as vinyl reissues from Cocteau Twins, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Spiritualized, plus the digital release of the classic Talking Heads concert film ‘Stop Making Sense.’

Morrissey’s been teasing the hell out of his brand-new album World Peace Is None Of Your Business in the weeks ahead of its July 15 release, with full-track previews, spoken-word promotional videos and, perhaps not as effectively, an aborted U.S. tour. Now, though, comes the moment of truth.

The opening track and lead single off Morrissey’s forthcoming album World Peace is None of Your Business has just gone on sale via iTunes and other digital retailers, and accompanying the track in the iTunes Music Store is a video of Moz performing a solemn, spoken-word rendition of the song.

With Morrissey’s tour under way, despite a bit of a bumpy start, it’s time for some new music — and it appears we’ll hear the title track off Moz’s upcoming album World Peace is None of Your Business when it’s released Tuesday as a single in the U.K. The song has has popped up on Amazon.co.uk as a digital single.

Morrissey returned to the road Wednesday night as his U.S. tour opened in San Jose, Calif., with a show that found the former Smiths frontman debuting three new songs off World Peace Is None Of Your Business during a 20-song set that ended abruptly as Moz was forced to flee the stage.
