The musical project that The Cure’s Lol Tolhurst and Budgie of Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Creatures first announced in 2020 is finally seeing the light of day.

U2 this morning announced a five-date run in September and October for its “U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at the Sphere,” concerts that will spotlight the band’s 1991 classic.

U2’s long-rumored Las Vegas residency was confirmed Sunday evening via a Super Bowl commercial announcing “U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at the Sphere.”

To mark the 50th anniversary of the massacre, U2 today shared on social media a new, acoustic performance by Bono and The Edge of “Sunday Bloody Sunday.”
