When The Ocean Blue was in Seattle this past February, the band’s frontman, David Schelzel, stopped by radio station KEXP (90.3 FM) for an on-air set and interview, performing new single “Sad Night, Where Is Morning,” classic track “Drifting, Falling” and a cover of Billy Idol’s “Eyes Without a Face.”

The reunited indie-pop outfit The Ocean Blue has debuted a dark, moody video for”Sad Night, Where is Morning?.” the lead single off Ultramarine, the band’s first new album since 2000′s Davy Jones’ Locker. The Ocean Blue releases its first album 13 years next week, but you don’t have to wait until Tuesday to hear Ultramarine — the full album is now streaming at AOL’s Spinner. Plus, the band has now announced some initial U.S. tour dates this May and June, not to mention a trip to Peru.

The Ocean Blue gave fans an early taste last fall of two tracks — “Blow My Mind” and “A Rose is a Rose” — off its first new album in 13 years, and now, with that record, ‘Ultramarine,’ due out in March, the band has premiered another song, “Sad Night, Where Is Morning?,” which you can stream here.

The Ocean Blue to release ‘Ultramarine’ in March, play shows ‘throughout the U.S.’

The Ocean Blue — best known for 1989’s Echo & The Bunnymen-like debut single “Between Something and Nothing” — will release ‘Ultramarine,’ the band’s first new album in 13 years, this March, then play “shows throughout the U.S. starting in April,” according to a post on the group’s Facebook page.
