Echo & The Bunnymen frontman Ian McCulloch has rolled out the first seven dates of a planned fall U.K. solo tour that will find the singer performing ‘intimate shows in small rooms’ with the help of Lightning Seeds mastermind and former Bunnymen producer Ian Broudie, who’ll be backing him up on second guitar.
Not only is The Mission reuniting for a 25th anniversary concert this fall, but Wayne Hussey and two of the band’s other original members — plus ex-Siouxsie and the Banshees drummer Budgie — are currently in a British studio recording a brand-new album.
Reunited British pop-rockers Squeeze will deliver a new 14-track best-of this summer featuring ‘all their classic hits re-recorded in a way so painstakingly faithful to the originals that they challenge you to spot the difference,’ according to a statement from the band.
