The Godfathers today released their first new single since 1995 — a 4½-minute rocker called ‘Back Into the Future’ — and next week will release expanded reissues of 1988’s ‘Birth School Work Death’ and 1989’s ‘More Songs About Love and Hate.’

With The Godfathers mounting their first U.S. tour in two decades next month, we’re thrilled to present the band’s St. Valentine’s Day Massacre show — and we’re giving our readers a chance to win tickets to see the Feb. 14 gig at Santos Party House in New York City.

This week’s new releases include ‘Content,’ the first album of new material from Gang of Four in more than 15 years, and ‘Shot Live at the 100 Club,’ a CD/DVD chronicle of The Godfathers’ 25th anniversary concert in London last summer.

For the first time in 20 years, The Godfathers will tour the U.S. in February, a 10-date trek that includes the U.K. rockers’ annual St. Valentine’s Day Massacre — which we’re thrilled to announce as the first Slicing Up Eyeballs Presents concert — at Santo’s Party House in New York.

While an official announcement is still forthcoming, The Godfathers are planning at least a short U.S. tour in February, a long-anticipated trek that will bring the reunited U.K. rockers’ annual St. Valentine’s Day Massacre concert to America for only the second time.

With The Godfathers’ 24-track live CD/DVD set ‘Shot Live at the 100 Club’ due out in less than three weeks, Secret Records Limited today posted the first clip from the June 17 concert at London’s famed 100 Club: fan favorite ‘Birth, School, Work Death,’ the title track to the reunited band’s 1988 album.
