Two weeks after Siouxsie returned to the concert stage for the first time in five years, there’s even more good news for Banshees fans: Bassist Steven Severin on Friday revealed in a tweet that, “After a gap of nearly a decades, the Banshees are talking again… The feud is over.”
Danish indie-pop combo Efterklang premiered its forthcoming album ‘Piramida’ by performing it in full at the Sydney Opera House backed by a symphony orchestra and a new touring drummer: Budgie, of Siouxsie & The Banshees and The Creatures, who will join the band on a series of fall European dates.
Today we observe another dark-hued milestone, as goth queen Siouxsie Sioux — aka Susan Janet Ballion, erstwhile leader of The Banshees and The Creatures — turns 53.
