Bob Mould will follow his first-ever performance of Sugar’s 1992 debut ‘Copper Blue’ at San Francisco’s Noise Pop festival later this month with a trio of European dates — in the U.K., Belgium and Finland — this June, he announced today.

Bob Mould will perform Sugar’s 1992 debut ‘Copper Blue’ in its entirety for the first time ever at San Francisco’s Noise Pop festival next month, marking the 20th anniversary of both the album and the music fest in what is expected to be the first of a “very limited” number of live performances of the record this year.

Bob Mould will mark the 20th anniversary of ‘Copper Blue’ — the classic debut from his early-’90s trio Sugar — by performing the album in full with his current band at a ‘very limited’ number of concerts next year, the former Hüsker Dü frontman announced during a tribute concert celebrating his career last week in Los Angeles.
