Public Image Ltd. this week debuted the third single — the bass-driven “Car Chase” off the band’s upcoming 11th album End of World, which is due out in August.

After returning to the concert stage for the first time in a quarter century last year, Shriekback next will deliver its 14th studio album, with the 10-song collection Why Anything? Why This? — the group’s first in three years — due later this month. Today we’re thrilled to premiere a track off that album: “Catmandu.”

Shriekback — self-described “weirdshit danceband, now very old indeed” — is planning to play live for the first time in nearly 25 years, and is soliciting fans to help fund a U.K. and European tour with the promise that, if successful, a North American outing could follow by summer 2018.
