Cherry Red Records this summer will release a new nine-disc deluxe box set compiling the five albums Aztec Camera released on WEA between 1984 and 1995 as well as four discs of singles, B-sides, live material, remixes and vinyl-only rarities. Full details and tracklist right here.

This week’s new releases include the first new solo album in eight years from Aztec Camera’s Roddy Frame and a new collaboration between Brian Eno and Underworld’s Karl Hyde, plus reissues of early albums from Josef K, Durutti Column and Section 25.

Former Aztec Camera mastermind Roddy Frame returns this May with his first solo album in eight years, a record called Seven Dials that is preceded by the debut today of lead-off single “Forty Days of Rain,” which you can stream below via AED Records.

Aztec Camera’s 1983 debut album High Land, Hard Rain will receive a (slightly) belated 30th anniversary reissue in North America in early 2014, a 2CD set that expands on last year’s European re-release with 16 bonus tracks that include B-sides, remixes, alternate versions and a host of live radio session material.

Roddy Frame will celebrate the 30th anniversary of his debut as Aztec Camera by performing High Land, Hard Rain in its entirety at three shows in the U.K. this December along with songs from across his catalog. The concerts are set for Dec. 1 in London, Dec. 3 in Manchester and Dec. 4 in Glasgow.
