The Ramones’ deluxe reissue campaign continues this fall with the 3CD/1LP expansion of the punk icons’ third album, Rocket to Russia, that will include two different mixes of the album, a host of unreleased studio recordings and a previously unissued live album recorded in 1977. The upcoming expanded reissue of The Smiths’ classic 1986 album The Queen is Dead, it turns out, will be bigger than originally thought. Rhino Records this morning formally announced the first-ever expanded reissue from the legendary band, revealing that it will be be released as a 3CD/1DVD boxed set.

Rhino Records today announced it will release a live double album recorded by the beloved original lineup of The Replacements, a fabled February 1986 show at Maxwell’s in Hoboken, N.J., that found the band blasting through a 29-song set of album tracks, B-sides and covers. See full tracklist.

Rhino Records next month will mark the 40th anniverary of the Ramones’ classic 1977 sophomore album Leave Home with a deluxe 3CD/1LP reissue of the record that includes a remastering of the original album and a brand-new mix by original engineer Ed Stasium, as well a heap of previously unreleased bonus material.

Rhino Records this summer will reissue The Cars’ second and third albums — 1979’s Candy-O and 1980’s Panorama — in expanded editions featuring audio remastered under bandleader Ric Ocasek’s supervision and previously unreleased tracks and mixes from those records’ sessions.
