Tonight’s edition of “Dark Wave” featured music from Peter Murphy, The Chameleons, The Lucy Show, Cabaret Voltaire, The Glove, The Essence, Killing Joke and For Against, plus a tribute to Ray Manzarek, with covers of The Doors by Alien Sex Fiend, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cult, The Mission and The Cure.
After marking the 30th anniversary of their debut ‘Los Angeles’ with a run of West Coast dates last Christmas, roots-punk legends X will reprise that show — featuring a screening of ‘X: The Unheard Music’ and a performance of the 1980 album front-to-back — on a 10-date tour this fall.
