Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds celebrated the release of their 15th studio album Push the Sky Away by performing the record in full on Feb. 21, 2013, at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles — and broadcasting that performance around the world live on YouTube.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will return to North America next summer for a second round of dates in support of the band’s current album Push the Sky Away, a just-announced trek that runs from June 16 through July 31 and will bring the group to 15 cities across the United States plus four more in Canada.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will release their fourth official live album next month in the form of Live From KCRW, a set recorded this past April in a studio for the Los Angeles radio station that will be released on CD and double vinyl at independent retailers on Record Store Day’s upcoming Black Friday event.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds today released the video for “Mermaids,” the third single off the band’s new album, Push the Sky Away, in the form of a live performance of the song from the band’s February album-release show in Los Angeles that was webcast around the world.
