Poptone, the new project that reunites former Bauhaus, Tones on Tail and Love and Rockets bandmates Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins, today announced plans to release a live album following the group’s inaugural tour — a still-expanding U.S. run of concerts that opens next week in Tempe, Ariz.

Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins debuted their new project Poptone on Thursday night with the first of two performances at a Los Angeles studio, playing, as expected, an 18-song set heavy on their short-lived early ’80s post-Bauhaus project Tones on Tail. When Daniel Ash goes out on tour with Kevin Haskins as Poptone, their set will largely be comprised of songs by their old bands: Bauhaus, Love and Rockets, and Tones on Tail. But there is one Ash solo track that appears on the leaked Poptone setlist: “Flame On.” Now the song’s got a new video.
