Peter Hook & The Light this week announced a 28-date North American tour for the spring of 2018, a trek that once again will see the band performing Joy Division’s and New Order’s classic Substance compilation albums in their entireties each night. See full dates here.
This week’s new releases include a brand-new two-track single from Paul Weller (“Flame-Out! b/w “The Olde Original”), the first album since 1981 from UK Decay, a remix collection from Gary Numan and live albums both new and old from Peter Hook & The Light and The Monochrome Set.
Peter Hook announced this week that he’ll release a digital live album capturing his performance of New Order’s first two albums with his band The Light in Manchester earlier this year, then took the opportunity today to swipe at his ex-bandmates’ performance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” last night.
