Porno For Pyros had been set to embark on its first tour in 25 years in just over a week, but the band today announced it will delay that trek by “a few months.”

Porno For Pyros will embark on its first tour in 25 years this fall, hitting 21 cities in the U.S. as the band’s original lineup works on a new album.

For this week’s installment of Vintage Video, we offer up what was, at the time, the final performance by Jane’s Addiction, a concert on Sept. 26, 1991, in Honolulu that saw frontman Perry Farrell and drummer Stephen Perkins strip completely naked for several songs at the end of the main set. Less than two weeks after Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell proclaimed to Rolling Stone that “it’ll be a couple of years before you see Jane’s again,” the band has been confirmed to perform its classic 1988 studio debut Nothing’s Shocking over three nights in Las Vegas this May.

Jane’s Addiction has just embarked on the Uproar Festival package tour with Alice in Chains, and while a new album doesn’t appear to be imminent, Perry Farrell and Co. last week released a standalone digital single, a two-and-a-half-minute rocker that you can check out right here.

Last night, Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell may have revealed the Pixies are in the studio, replaying to a tweet from @leCultVult — ‘@perryfarrell back in the day the cool kids at my high school it was all about Jane’s Addiction and the Pixies’ — by writing, ‘Still is Pixies r recording.’

Less than 10 dates into the first leg of its “Theatre of the Escapists” tour, Jane’s Addiction has announced another U.S. leg this May, with 14 more shows added after the band — Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro and Stephen Perkins, along with bassist Chris Chaney — plays South America and Mexico next month.
