Pixies’ upcoming North American tour continues to expand, with the announcement today of an additional 19 dates with Modest Mouse Cat Power. 

Pixies today announced a second U.S. leg of their ongoing tour in support of last year’s Doggerel with special guests Franz Ferdinand and Bully.

The Pixies this week debuted a brand-new single called “Human Crime” with a music video directed by the band’s bassist, Paz Lenchantin.

The Pixies are back with a brand new single, the Paz Lenchantin-sung “Hear Me Out” that is accompanied by the western-themed video posted here and will appear as the A-side of a new limited-edition 12-inch single the band is set to release later this month. The Pixies are back with a second track — the melodic rocker “Catfish Kate” — off their upcoming album Beneath the Eyrie, the band’s third post-reunion, post-Kim Deal effort and seventh full-length overall. You can see the animated music video for the track right here.

As their just-launched U.S. tour brought them to Los Angeles, the Pixies stopped by “Conan” on Thursday night to perform “Bel Esprit,” a melodic rocker off their latest album Head Carrier that finds frontman Black Francis trading vocals with bassist Paz Lenchantin. Watch the full performance here.
