Declaring “Go! Go! Go!” from the stage, Morrissey ejected a sign-waving protester from the audience of his concert in Portland, Ore., on Monday night, then canceled tonight’s scheduled performance in Seattle — though it’s not clear if the two events are connected in any way. Morrissey has postponed his planned tour stop in Houston tonight with opener Interpol, citing the “extreme flood conditions” in the area in the wake of Tropical Storm Imelda that could prevent fans from being able to get to the concert. The concert was rescheduled for Oct. 28. Full details right here.

Morrissey closed out his seven-night residency on Broadway on Saturday with something old-but-new: He treated the New York City crowd to his first-ever performance of the ballad “I Won’t Share You,” off The Smiths’ 1987 swan song Strangeways, Here We Come. Watch the performance right here.

Morrissey’s Canadian tour that was to have started Sunday night in Vancouver is on the rocks after at least the first two concerts — if not most of the trek — have been rescheduled for October “due to a medical emergency stemming from an accident incurred while traveling in Europe.” Full details here.
