Morrissey has “fallen ill” and has canceled his Wednesday night concert in Atlanta, according to the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre’s website. Moz last performed on Saturday night in Miami, and had a three-night break scheduled before Wednesday night’s now-scrubbed Atlanta gig.

Morrissey has announced, through his customary outlet, the quasi-official fansite True To You, that his 30-year publishing deal with Warner-Chappell Music “has come to an end” — and that he’s now shopping his solo catalog and The Smiths’ catalog to any new publishers that might be interested.

This week’s new releases include brand-new studio albums from Bob Mould, Peter Murphy, Echo & The Bunnymen, Camper Van Beethoven and James, plus reissues from Morrissey and Soundgarden, and a new latter-period best-of from Paul Weller.

The opening track and lead single off Morrissey’s forthcoming album World Peace is None of Your Business has just gone on sale via iTunes and other digital retailers, and accompanying the track in the iTunes Music Store is a video of Moz performing a solemn, spoken-word rendition of the song.

With Morrissey’s tour under way, despite a bit of a bumpy start, it’s time for some new music — and it appears we’ll hear the title track off Moz’s upcoming album World Peace is None of Your Business when it’s released Tuesday as a single in the U.K. The song has has popped up on Amazon.co.uk as a digital single.

Morrissey returned to the road Wednesday night as his U.S. tour opened in San Jose, Calif., with a show that found the former Smiths frontman debuting three new songs off World Peace Is None Of Your Business during a 20-song set that ended abruptly as Moz was forced to flee the stage.

Morrissey’s previously announced 20th anniversary reissue of his fourth solo album, 1994’s Vauxhall and I, will not feature a tweaked tracklist — as some of the singer’s re-releases have included — but will come with a bonus CD or download of a concert recorded in London on Feb. 27, 1995.
