The Psychedelic Furs and Squeeze today announced they’re teaming up for a 26-date U.S. tour that will take the pair of beloved bands coast to coast.

The Psychedelic Furs are heading back out on the road again this spring, announcing today a 13-date U.S. tour that the band says is the “first leg” of its 2023 touring plans.

The Psychedelic Furs this week released a brand-new song ahead of the band’s U.S. and U.K. tours that both begin later this month. The track “Evergreen” — which you can hear in its entirety below — was recorded during the sessions for Made of Rain, the band’s first new studio album in nearly three decades.

The Psychedelic Furs’ plans to tour their first new studio album in nearly 30 years were foiled by the pandemic, but the band finally is planning to hit the road behind Made of Rain later this year with a 28-date U.S. tour that runs from September through November. The Psychedelic Furs today premiered a new music video — for the song “Wrong Train” — off the band’s first new album in 29 years, which came out last summer following a delay brought on by the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic. You can watch the new clip right here.
