Modern English stopped by Seattle’s KEXP radio station back in June to perform a five-song set that included four tracks earmarked for the band’s next album 1234.

The Charlatans recently completed a North American tour with Ride, and while the bands were in Seattle, Tim Burgess and Co. stopped by KEXP.

Seattle’s KEXP has just shared a nearly 40-minute live set by Ride that the shoegaze legends performed for the radio station last October ahead of their proper concert that night. The nine-song set is taken entirely from This Is Not a Safe Place, the band’s second post-reunion album, which was released last August.

Calexico and Iron & Wine have been out on the road this year in support of their 14-years-in-the-making second collaboration, Years to Burn, and have regularly been performing a cover of Echo & The Bunnymen’s “Bring on the Dancing Horses” — which they recorded in a live session for KEXP last summer.

Martin Phillipps brought his iconic New Zealand indie-pop outfit The Chills to the studios of Seattle’s KEXP during the band’s U.S. tour this past spring for a four-song on-air set and interview that the radio station has recently shared via YouTube. You can watch it right here.

The Dream Syndicate stopped by the studios of Seattle’s KEXP radio station in September while touring in support of the band’s excellent reunion album How Did I Find Myself Here?, recording a 35-minute session and interview that is now available for all to see. Watch it right here.

David Gedge and the rest of The Wedding Present stopped by the Seattle studios of KEXP in April during the band’s spring U.S. tour in support of their latest album Going, Going…,  and performed a six-song, half-hour set that the radio station has now shared online. U.K. post-punk warriors Wire stopped by the Seattle studios of KEXP radio in early April during a short West Coast swing in support of their 15th studio album, Silver/Lead, to perform a four-song on-air session and chat with host Stevie Zoom.

American Music Club frontman Mark Eiztel stopped by Seattle’s KEXP radio station last month to perform a quartet of songs off his just-released new album Hey Mr. Ferryman and discuss his music with host Troy Nelson. On the album, Eitzel is backed largely by ex-Suede guitarist Bernard Butler.

Throwing Muses frontwoman Kristin Hersh dropped by the studios of Seattle radio station KEXP last November while touring in support of her new solo album Wyatt at the Coyote Palace, and performed a four-song set and discussed her music with host Larry Rose.

Fishbone, long-running masters of the genre mashup, stopped by Seattle’s KEXP radio station just two days after the election last fall to perform a four-song, 30-minute in-studio session. Host Kevin Cole gets the band started by saying, “I know I could use some funk to get me out of my post-election funk.”
