John Lydon’s reunited Public Image Ltd. took to the airwaves last night for the band’s first U.K. television performance in 20 years, appearing on BBC Two’s “Later… with Jools Holland” to play “Reggie Song,” the next single off the band’s comeback LP, This Is PiL — which you can watch right here.

For fans, one of the highlights of the Sex Pistols’ upcoming ‘Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols’ box set is the “lost” 1977 studio demo of “Belsen Was a Gas” with John Lydon’s vocals, the controversial Holocaust-themed song billed as the only “original Sex Pistols composition of the era thought not to be recorded.”

On the eve of its fall North American tour, John Lydon’s reconstituted Public Image Ltd. will release a new double-A sided single off this year’s ‘This Is PiL’ album, spotlighting the tracks “Reggie Song” and “Out of the Woods” and featuring, as B-sides, tracks recorded in 2010 at New York City’s Terminal 5.

Public Image Ltd.’s first North American tour in two years grew by two dates this week as John Lydon and Co. announced new late-October shows in San Diego and Tempe, Ariz., now bringing the fall trek to an even 20 dates. The tour opens Oct. 3 in Orlando, Fla., wraps up in Texas at the FunFunFun Fest in Austin, Texas, on Nov. 3.

John Lydon will bring his reconvened Public Image Ltd. back to the U.S. for its first North American tour in two years this fall, playing 18 dates in the U.S. and Canada throughout October and into early November, culminating with the previously announced appearance at the FunFunFun Fest in Austin, Texas.

The Sex Pistols this week revealed the full tracklist to this fall’s super-deluxe ‘Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols’ box set, a 3CD/1DVD collection that will mark the classic punk album’s 35th anniversary with demos, B-sides, live cuts and a remastered edition of the record using newly re-discovered original master tapes.

John Lydon will bring his reconstituted Public Image Ltd. back to the U.S. for its first North American performance in two years this November when the band co-headlines the FunFunFun Fest in Austin, Texas — with more North American dates promised to be announced “as soon as we can.”
