Siouxsie will return to the concert stage this summer after a five-year absence to perform at the Yoko Ono-curated Meltdown festival at London’s Southbank Centre, an event that also will feature sets by Patti Smith, Iggy & The Stooges, Boy George, and both Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore.
For his first live dates since a series of trouble-prone 2009 outings, Morrissey will return to the stage this summer with a nine-date U.K. tour leading up to a slot headlining the Hop Farm Music Festival alongside such icons as Lou Reed, Iggy & The Stooges and Patti Smith.
Sonic Youth and The Breeders are among the acts announced today for the third installment of All Tomorrow’s Parties New York, set for Labor Day weekend and already featuring full-album performances by Iggy & The Stooges (Raw Power) and Mudhoney (Superfuzz Bigmuff Plus Early Singles).
