In their first television appearance in 24 years, The Cars dropped by ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ on Tuesday night to perform ‘Blue Tip’ off just-released comeback album ‘Move Like This’ as well as 1979 smash ‘Let’s Go.’
The surviving members of The Cars — singer/keyboardist Ric Ocasek, guitarist Elliot Easton, drummer David Robinson and keyboardist Greg Hawkes, who also is filling in on bass for the late Benjamin Orr — kicked off their reunion tour in Seattle last night, performing their first concert in 24 years.

Ending ever-increasing fan speculation, the surviving members of The Cars today announced their first tour in nearly a quarter century, a short North American trek that will see the reunited band hitting theaters and large clubs in 10 cities this May.
