This week’s new releases include the U.S. edition of ‘Don’t Be a Stranger’ from Mark Eitzel, plus a new album from the Jam’s Bruce Foxton, a double-A sided single form Public Image Ltd., a reissue of Aztec Camera’s 1984 album ‘Knife,’ and a 2CD singles collection form A.R. Kane.

This week’s new releases include expanded reissues of albums from R.E.M. (‘Document’), Sex Pistols (‘Never Mind the Bollocks’), INXS (‘Kick’) and Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, plus new music from Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore, with Yoko Ono, and Mark Eitzel, John Foxx and The Cure’s Robert Smith.

After suffering a heart attack last year and seeing the ‘implosion’ of the American Music Club reunion after two mid-to-late 2000s albums, former frontman Mark Eitzel this fall will release a brand-new solo album called Don’t Be a Stranger that his label, Merge Records, is pitching as his ‘finest solo album in over a decade.’
