Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan recently sat down with TV’s Chris Hardwick and guest co-host April Richardson for a highly entertaining, hour-long chat that was released as an episode of Hardwick’s long-running Nerdist podcast last week.

Depeche Mode made its second foray onto late-night American television to promote its new album Spirit, appearing on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on Monday night to perform “Where’s the Revolution.” The band played the same song last month on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

As teased yesterday, Depeche Mode has announced plans for what it’s calling an “exceptionally exclusive performance” in Los Angeles next week as a thank-you to the fans whose ticket demand has led the band to add a record fourth date at the Hollywood Bowl this fall.

As Depeche Mode prepares to ramp up promotion of its new album Spirit and upcoming worldwide tour, the band is teasing a “special thank you show” in Hollywood next week that’s expected to be formally announced tomorrow. The band’s Global Spirit Tour opens May 5 in Stockholm.

The Mission next month will release an expanded collectors’ edition of its 2016 album Another Fall From Grace, offering fans a five-disc set that will include the full album, bonus material and videos spread over two CDs, two LPs and a DVD, plus a 20-page limited-edition book.

Depeche Mode celebrated today’s release its 14th studio album Spirit with an hour-long performance in Berlin that was webcast live — and now you can watch a replay of the full 11-song set. The band performed four songs off the new album, a couple off 2009’s Sounds of the Universe and a clutch of ’90s and ’00s singles.

The Depeche Mode concert film “101” — documenting the Concert for the Masses — will get a homecoming of sorts this summer when the Los Angeles outdoor film series Eat|See|Hear screens it where it was filmed on June 18, 1988: the cavernous Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena. You can bring your dog, too.
