This week’s new releases include “Spirit,” the 14th studio album from Depeche Mode, the “Lloyd Cole in New York: Complete Recordings 1988-1996” 6-disc box set, including Cole’s ’90s solo albums and unreleased demos, plus a new solo album, “American Beauty,” by latter-era Ramones bassist CJ Ramone.

About two dozen Depeche Mode fans were treated to an unforgettable experience Monday when the band’s label bused them to a New York studio to watch — from just feet away — as the group played a 40-minute set in preparation for the upcoming Global Spirit Tour.

Depeche Mode’s new single “Where’s the Revolution” received its live debut Wednesday night when the band performed it on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” The track is the first released off the band’s upcoming 14th studio album, Spirit, which is due out on March 17.

Depeche Mode today announced the full North American leg of its upcoming Global Spirit Tour, a 28-date trek through the U.S. and Canada that put the synthpop vets in arenas and amphitheaters coast to coast from late August through late October. Pre-sales for the North American tour begin Monday.

With a European tour already announced, Depeche Mode are ramping up to unveil North American dates in support of their upcoming 14th studio album, Spirit — and they’re asking fans to reserve “a spot in line” for an upcoming ticket presale, then work to promote in order to move up in line.
