Having just completed a run of West Coast dates, and with their debut album due out next month, Poptone — Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins, plus Haskins’ daughter Diva Dompe — have just rolled out more North American tour dates, a nine-concert run this summer that’ll see the band hitting the Midwest and East Coast.

After last year’s tour of the U.S., Poptone — featuring longtime bandmates Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins, plus Haskins’ daughter Diva Dompe on bass — are preparing their debut EP, a 13-song live radio session featuring performances of originally recorded by Tones on Tail, Love and Rockets and Bauhaus.

Poptone — the band featuring Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins that performs a Tones on Tail-heavy set, along with music by Bauhaus and Love and Rockets — will embark on a new run of North American dates this May, playing eight just-announced concerts up and down the West Coast. Full details here.

First announced last year, Bauhaus drummer Kevin Haskins’ visual history of the pioneering goth-rock act — a 315-page coffee table book stuffed with recollections and flyers, ticket stubs, personal photographs and more — will be published in early 2018 by Cleopatra Records. Peter Murphy has enlisted former bandmate David J to play bass in his band during the final three, Bauhaus-focused nights of his expanded 16-night residency in San Francisco next year, a run of shows that had been postponed due to the singer’s vocal problems. See full details here.
