Tears For Fears will return to the road this summer with a just-announced 22-date North American tour, the duo’s second trek in support of The Tipping Point.

Less than a month before Tears For Fears is scheduled to embark on an arena tour of the U.K. and Europe, co-founder Curt Smith — who split with musical partner Roland Orzabal once before — is hinting that his future with the group may be uncertain. Here’s what we know so far.

The announcement last week that Tears For Fears was postponing a U.K. tour with Alison Moyet due to an undisclosed health issue came with a glimmer of good news: Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith hope to finish work on their first new album in 14 years and release it this fall.
