This week’s new releases include the first new album in six years from Kate Bush (’50 Words for Snow’), DVDs from Talking Heads (‘Chronology’) and U2 (‘From the Sky Down’), a new single from Erasure (‘Be With You’) and the domestic release of Magazine’s first new album in 30 years (‘No Thyself’).
Eagle Rock Entertainment is teasing its upcoming Talking Heads live DVD and Blu-ray — the 18-track ‘Chronology,’ spanning 1975 to 1983 — with this rare, early performance of ‘Psycho Killer,’ filmed at New York club CBGB in 1975. The collection will be released Nov. 21.
Eagle Rock Entertainment this fall will release a DVD compiling Talking Heads live performances from across the band’s touring career, an 18-track set called ‘Chronology’ that spans the years 1975 to 1983 — and includes the quartet performing “Life During Wartime” during its brief reunion at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.
