Having taken their name from a New Order video, The Killers have, not surprisingly, shown a predilection toward covering songs by classic alternative acts, including Joy Division, The Smiths, Morrissey and, of course, New Order. The remaining members of INXS this week released a new 16-track digital-only best-of called ‘Platinum: Greatest Hits’ that will appeal to diehard fans mostly for the ample bonus it comes with: ‘Seriously Live,’ a 26-song double live album that spans the band’s 30-year career.
