In their first television appearance in 24 years, The Cars dropped by ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ on Tuesday night to perform ‘Blue Tip’ off just-released comeback album ‘Move Like This’ as well as 1979 smash ‘Let’s Go.’
The surviving members of The Cars — singer/keyboardist Ric Ocasek, guitarist Elliot Easton, drummer David Robinson and keyboardist Greg Hawkes, who also is filling in on bass for the late Benjamin Orr — kicked off their reunion tour in Seattle last night, performing their first concert in 24 years.

The Cars continue to slowly reveal their reunion via Facebook, first posting a photo of the band in the studio last summer, then proceeding with short teasers of new music, the second of which, a 56-second video clip of a new tune called ‘Sad Song,’ was posted yesterday.
