The folks at Matador Records are offering up the first official taste of ‘Demolished Thoughts’ — the forthcoming Beck-produced solo record from Sonic Youth leader Thurston Moore — in the form of a free MP3 of the album’s ‘Benediction.’
Sonic Youth leader Thurston Moore has been working on a new Beck-produced solo album that Matador Records today announced will be titled ‘Demolished Thoughts’ — it previously was called ‘Benediction’ — and is due to be released May 24.
After collaborating on a full-album cover of Yanni’s ‘Live at the Acropolis’ last summer, Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore has now tapped Beck to produce his third solo album, titled ‘Benediction’ and due out sometime in 2011 on Matador Records.
