With its as-yet-untitled new record nearly complete, Duran Duran today announced its first South African concerts in 17 years, a five-date run in December that’s being billed as ‘the start of an enormous global campaign around the release of their next studio album.’
The defunct Ministry next month will release ‘Every Day is Halloween: The Anthology,’ a 12-track compilation that appears to mix some of the band’s best-known singles with new covers of classic songs by AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones — and Amy Winehouse?
Amy Winehouse joined the reunited Specials onstage at the 2009 installment of the V Festival in England, lending her vocals to the ska legends’ ‘You’re Wondering Now’ and ‘Ghost Town.’ Watch both here.
