After months of cancellations due to Simon Le Bon’s vocal problems, Duran Duran on Tuesday rolled out a 24-date tour that will bring the band back to North America this fall — dates that would have followed the band’s most recent round of scrapped concerts.

As a ‘thank you’ to fans who’ve put up with the band’s recent spate of tour cancellations, Duran Duran over the weekend posted a free download of its nine-song concert for contest winners at RDS Radio in Rome, Italy, on May 12.

Over the past two weeks, Duran Duran has performed on ‘The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,’ ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show,’ ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ and ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.’ Watch all of those performances right here.

This week’s new releases include the belated physical release of Duran Duran’s ‘All You Need Is Now,’ new albums from The Human League and John Foxx, The Pet Shop Boys’ ‘The Most Incredible Thing’ ballet score, a Soundgarden live album and a new Aztec Camera best-of.

Promising ‘a larger tour later in the year,’ Duran Duran today began rolling out a series of North American club and theater dates throughout April on either side of its appearance at Coachella — with additional shows still to be announced.

Duran Duran finally will issue its new album ‘All You Need Is Now’ in physical formats — CD, vinyl and a CD/DVD “Deluxe Edition’ package — on March 22 in North America, with up to six new songs added to the original nine-song tracklist, depending on which format you buy.

On Thursday night, Duran Duran played the first of only three U.S. concerts scheduled so far this year, joining an unlikely combo of Kid Rock and Jason Derulo at the NFL Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam in Grand Prairie, Texas. See video here.
