Yazoo – the hugely influential synthpop duo of Alison Moyet and Vince Clarke that was christened Yaz in the U.S. – will release a 4LP vinyl box set this fall called Four Pieces that collects the group’s two albums plus a set of remixes and their two BBC radio sessions. The announcement last week that Tears For Fears was postponing a U.K. tour with Alison Moyet due to an undisclosed health issue came with a glimmer of good news: Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith hope to finish work on their first new album in 14 years and release it this fall.

Tears For Fears will embark on an arena tour of the U.K. and Ireland next May in support of the group’s new best-of Rule the World — an eight-city trek that will see Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith supported by Alison Moyet. The tour opens May 2 in Dublin and continues through May 12 in Brighton.

Alison Moyet has released a new Steve Gullick-directed music video for “The Rarest Birds,” the second single off her new album Other, a song that she calls “a paean to LGBTQ” that celebrates the “freedom to identify where we best see fit.” Watch the full video right here.
