Having just wrapped up their first leg Down Under, former bandmates Peter Murphy and David J today announced a 30-date North American segment of their tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of Bauhaus — a trek that’ll see the duo performing In the Flat Field in full. Peter Murphy — still unable to get a visa to come to the U.S. from Turkey — today announced he’s rescheduling his long-planned San Francisco residency for the third time, moving the concerts, which had been scheduled to start later this month, to March 2019. Having just completed a run of West Coast dates, and with their debut album due out next month, Poptone — Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins, plus Haskins’ daughter Diva Dompe — have just rolled out more North American tour dates, a nine-concert run this summer that’ll see the band hitting the Midwest and East Coast.

After last year’s tour of the U.S., Poptone — featuring longtime bandmates Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins, plus Haskins’ daughter Diva Dompe on bass — are preparing their debut EP, a 13-song live radio session featuring performances of originally recorded by Tones on Tail, Love and Rockets and Bauhaus.

Poptone — the band featuring Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins that performs a Tones on Tail-heavy set, along with music by Bauhaus and Love and Rockets — will embark on a new run of North American dates this May, playing eight just-announced concerts up and down the West Coast. Full details here.

First announced last year, Bauhaus drummer Kevin Haskins’ visual history of the pioneering goth-rock act — a 315-page coffee table book stuffed with recollections and flyers, ticket stubs, personal photographs and more — will be published in early 2018 by Cleopatra Records. Peter Murphy has enlisted former bandmate David J to play bass in his band during the final three, Bauhaus-focused nights of his expanded 16-night residency in San Francisco next year, a run of shows that had been postponed due to the singer’s vocal problems. See full details here.
