Now that we’ve revealed the somewhat-anticipated results of our latest Slicing Up Eyeballs artist poll — one that ranks all 51 songs recorded by Joy Division — it’s only natural we’d throw together a Spotify playlist of the ranked countdown. Well, minus the eight songs that aren’t on the streaming service.
“Dark Wave,” hosted by Slicing Up Eyeballs’ Matt Sebastian, airs 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern every Sunday on Sirius XM satellite radio’s 1st Wave (Channel 33). Elvis Costello will deliver his 31st album this fall, a 14-song collection called Hey Clockface that was recorded in Helskini, Paris and New York with multiple musical combos featuring players that include longtime sideman Steve Nieve, guitarist Bill Frisell and Wilco’s Nels Cline.
