Kirk — today premiered the second song off its first new album in 26 years, an eight-song collection called Shadow of Fear that’s due to be released Nov. 20 via Mute Records. Two months after their last, Trump-tweaking single, Australian rockers Hoodoo Gurus are back with another new song: “Get Out of Dodge,” featuring backing vocals by Vicki Peterson of The Bangles and John Cowsill of The Cowsills and the current iteration of The Beach Boys. Hear it right here.
The Pixies are back with a brand new single, the Paz Lenchantin-sung “Hear Me Out” that is accompanied by the western-themed video posted here and will appear as the A-side of a new limited-edition 12-inch single the band is set to release later this month. Midnight Oil has released a music video for the second song released off its upcoming mini-album The Makarrata Project, a collaboration with “our First Nations friends” that marks the Oils’ first new music in 17 years. Fittingly, the song is called “First Nation.” Watch the full video right here.
