Two years into their reunion, college-rock faves The Feelies continue to perform sporadically in the U.S. — and will give fans another chance to see the band this summer with a trio of home-state shows.

The Cure’s Robert Smith turns 51 today, and to mark the occasion, we’ve assembled this playlist of the band’s long-out-of-print 1987 concert film ‘The Cure in Orange,’ which is finally due for a belated DVD release later this year.

Devo took to the airwaves last night to perform their new single, ‘Fresh,’ on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ The track is off the band’s first new album in 20 years, ‘Something for Everybody,’ which is due out June 15 — and is available now on the ‘Song Study’ EP via iTunes.

The remaining members of INXS this week released a new 16-track digital-only best-of called ‘Platinum: Greatest Hits’ that will appeal to diehard fans mostly for the ample bonus it comes with: ‘Seriously Live,’ a 26-song double live album that spans the band’s 30-year career.

Citing ‘an emergency medical ailment,’ The Specials have postponed tonight’s Toronto concert — but not this week’s New York City gigs — until August, when the band will return to North America for more dates.

The Pixies this morning announced “two very special, fan exclusive shows” at The Troxy in London on June 3 and 4, and are offering a free download of live audio and video of ‘Doolittle’ track ‘La La Love You.’

This week’s new releases include ‘Wake Up the Nation,’ the 10th studio album from The Jam’s Paul Weller, plus reissues of Duran Duran spinoff Arcadia’s ‘So Red the Rose’ (CD/DVD) and The Jesus and Mary Chain’s ‘Darklands’ (vinyl).
