With his new album ‘Several Shades of Why’ now in stores and a U.S. tour underway, Dinosaur Jr guitar slayer J Mascis today released a weird animated video for the record’s first single, ‘Not Enough.’

As a prelude to tonight’s Los Angeles tour stop, synthpop vets Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark played a half-hour in-store set at Amoeba Music in Hollywood yesterday afternoon — and you can watch the whole thing right here, thanks to the indie record chain.

If you didn’t catch the David Lynch-directed ‘Unstaged’ concert that Duran Duran, er, staged last night in Los Angeles and streamed live over YouTube, the band has posted four videos from the show.

The long-rumored new remix album from Depeche Mode — titled ‘Remixes 2: 81-11,’ and featuring contributions from former members Vince Clarke and Alan Wilder — will be released in single CD, triple-disc, digital and six-LP configurations on June 6, the synthpop vets announced this morning.

Despite initially billing their tour as ‘a very limited run of live shows,’ The Psychedelic Furs this week added an eight-date southern leg to their 30th anniversary ‘Talk Talk Talk’ tour of the U.S. this summer — effectively tripling the original size of the trek.
