Fans of Echo & The Bunnymen can commemorate the band’s recent gigs performing their first two albums — 1980’s ‘Crocodiles’ and 1981’s ‘Heaven Up Here’ — back-to-back with a brand-new live CD called ‘Do It Clean.’

After bringing his ‘Unknown Pleasures’ tour to the U.S. late last year, bassist Peter Hook will return to North America this September to perform Joy Division’s second album, ‘Closer,’ at five select dates — and play ‘Unknown Pleasures’ in three cities skipped by the first tour.

As a ‘thank you’ to fans who’ve put up with the band’s recent spate of tour cancellations, Duran Duran over the weekend posted a free download of its nine-song concert for contest winners at RDS Radio in Rome, Italy, on May 12.

Martin Gore and Vince Clarke are finished recording a new all-instrumental dance record and must now mix the project — but Gore warns in a new interview with Billboard.com that ‘even though it probably will be finished quite soon, it might not see the light of day for awhile.’
