Dinosaur Jr won’t release its third post-reunion album, ‘I Bet On Sky,’ until September, but fans can get an early taste via the first track to emerge from the records, the chugging rocker ‘Watch the Corners,’ which premiered on RollingStone.com on Friday and can now be streamed here.

For this week’s installment of Vintage Video, we bring you another classic performance filmed for the German TV show ‘Rockpalast’ — this time a full 70-minute concert by XTC filmed in 1982, just two months before the band would play its last-ever tour date before retiring as a live act due to Andy Partridge’s stage fright.

First announced as a bonus for pre-ordering the ‘Complete Bea’t box set, a package documenting The English Beat’s appearances at the two massive US Festivals in 1982 and 1983 — with both sets in full on DVD, and a CD featuring highlights from each appearance — will be released separately this September.

Steve Wynn will reunite The Dream Syndicate this September for the first time in more than 20 years to play “a handful of shows” in Spain to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the band’s debut album ‘The Days of Wine and Roses’ — plus ‘very possibly some more (concerts) beyond’ those performances.

Another festival, another webcast: The Cure tonight played Rock Werchter 2012 in Belgium, and, as has become customary, part of the band’s set was broadcast live over the web. Peter Murphy will wrap up his extensive touring in support of 2011’s Ninth with “a final run of intimate shows” in the western U.S. this August — including a previously announced club gig in Hollywood as part of the Sunset Strip Music Festival — plus one last show in New York.

With The Stone Roses opening their three-night homecoming stand at Manchester’s Heaton Park tomorrow night, now comes the ‘inside’ look at their reunion: a cheeky 9-minute mockumentary called ‘The Stone Roses: The Second Second Coming,’ which was posted to YouTube today and is quickly making the social media rounds.
